Concrete Land — a documentary directed by Asmahan Bkerat that I'm proud to have shot as one of its cinematographers. The film follows a Palestinian Bedouin family across three generations, living with their animals on the outskirts of Amman as bulldozers and development close in on the only home they've known. Real people, real land, real stakes — the kind of story you don't just film, you live alongside for a while. Concrete Land is an Official Selection of Semaine de la Critique at the Locarno Film Festival, with backing from the IDFA Bertha Fund and the Doha Film Institute. Grateful to have helped bring this story to the screen. Cinematographers Ahmad Jalboush Hamzah Hamide Mohammad El Amaireh
